Join the Club!
The Worcester Mineral Club boasts over 500 members who share interests in minerals, gems, fossils, lapidary, jewelry making, treasure hunting, mineralogy, geology, paleontology, and other Earth sciences. We welcome people of all ages to join and share their passion for these fields.
Membership Information
Membership in the Worcester Mineral Club is open to everyone. The annual dues are:
- Individual Membership: $16.25 per year
- Family Membership: $21.25 per year (includes 2 adults, 18+, and up to 2 minor children). For families with more than 4 members, add $5.00 for each additional minor child, with a maximum total of $31.25 per family.
Dues are payable at the time of registration and cover membership for the calendar year.
New Members: If you join after our annual show, your membership will automatically roll over to include the following calendar year.
Renewals: To remain an active member, dues must be renewed annually at the start of each calendar year.
Membership Benefits Include:
- Access to the Members Only section of the website.
- Monthly meetings from September through June, featuring talks with experts in the field and various educational opportunities.
- Ten issues of the club’s e-newsletter, New Diggings.
- Eligibility to participate in all club-sponsored field trips and, by arrangement, field trips sponsored by other EFMLS member clubs.
- Eligibility to collect at the club’s claim at Diamond Acres in Fonda, NY, for a small fee.
- Membership cards for the club and the EFMLS (available upon request).
- Liability insurance coverage provided through the EFMLS.
- Opportunity to win door prizes at in-person monthly meetings.
- Opportunity to buy, sell, or swap specimens with other members at monthly meetings.
